Nicole Hanson (she/ella) is the Youth Initiatives Manager at the WA State Employment Security Department. She facilitates the Workforce and Innovation Act (WIOA) Title I-B Youth program and supports Career Connect Washington’s efforts. She has more than a decade of experience collaborating with youth, young adults, and their supporters. Nicole served as Peace Corps Volunteer in Nicaragua, earned a Master of Social Work and a Master of Science in Education from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Latin American Culture from Seattle Pacific University. She consults for organizations that prioritize youth wellbeing and co-design.
