Adam Matherly is a corporate attorney in Holland & Knight's Seattle office. Mr. Matherly focuses his practice on representing emerging companies and venture capital investors across the software, life sciences, space tech, aerospace, and fintech industries. Mr. Matherly routinely assists with financing transactions and mergers and acquisitions (M&A). He regularly serves as outside general counsel for emerging companies, assisting with initial business structuring and organization, securities issuances, equity incentive plans, corporate governance, commercial agreements and reorganizations. In addition, Mr. Matherly counsels clients on a wide range of intellectual property (IP) matters, including leading complex licensing and technology transfer transactions as well as the prosecution and enforcement of trademarks, copyrights and patents.
